Konstanz... Sea World....

Hello my dear Hive friends,

Today we are going to have a look in to another town. It belong also to the Bodensee area.
Town ist called Konstanz and it is on the another side of the Bodensee lake. It is on the west side. Yesterday i wrote abouth the Bregenz which is on the east side end of the lake.
Konstanz is realy interesting place it belongs partly in Germany, but part of the town belong also to Switzerland.

From Germany you can take a drive there with the car witch takes a bit longer, becouse you need to drive around the lake. I do prefer to drive to Meersburg and there we leave the car usualy on the parking lot. And than we take a ferry on the another side. Yes you hear that right we do go to visit Konstanz more often. It is so incredible city. There is so much to see. One has no chance to see there everything in just one day.

That the Konstanz is an old town one noticet at fist glance. There is a lot of history writen in the old walls from the town. Aspecialy the Czech nation has there ineresting piece of history.

The teacher Jan Hus was burned here after trial and imprisonment in 1415. All the czechs know the story. One can visit the house where he was capcured. That house is direct on the left side after crossing the town gate.

And when you go down to the city you will pass the town hall, which is realy nice painted with history pictures. Those paintings are realy somethink. Than after the townhall you arive to the main square. There most of the people take a photo on the brass horse near the fountain.
You will see new art in Konstanz as well. It is realy town which is alive. For example on on of the side streets one can meet a fountain full of crazy statutes.

Anyway these time we have been visiting the Sea world. It is realy nice place where we sow a lot of aquariuns with a lot of interesting sea animals not just fish.
I roghly recomend to go and wisit Konstanz when you been on the south of Germany.
