The desert!!!
With a texture that seems like brown cocaine
Hot and gloomy, with a chocolate coffee-like colour
A dusky appearance like a tanned skin
A somewhat valuable copper coin
Nothing but a vacuum of fine dust
A void of pure sand laid to rest
An isolated beauty that sucks water dry
Branded with an intelligent sun shining in the background
The contours in its hills
The depression in its valley
The perfect artwork couldn't compare
The only smell of life made visible in the wind
The rising and falling of dust with skulls laid to rest in the sand
An illusionary oasis
Made possible by the reflection of the horizon
I wonder, what if there was enough water?
The fine sand, the dry wind, the scorching sun
The whole essence of your beauty
The standard of your elegance
The very reason for your existence
Will be nothing..., but unknown

The Desert- Stranded!!!

Stranded in the desert
With nowhere to go
Your smell of dry sand became my comfort
The dry wind, my reason for living
Your texture became my inspiration
Your colour, a sign of hope
Water was your only weakness
The only thing that couldn't and wouldn't be given
