I love writing posts for the Wednesday Walk challenge ๐ Lately I have been so busy it's been hard to find the time to write posts that require research. But posting about a walk is a fun way to not be completely absent!
I don't really have any news. Still, my flat keeps me busy. It's actually on the market now with planned viewings next week. Unfortunately the market has dipped lately so I'm not sure what to expect.
I felt I needed a break from it all and went to my mom's for an extended weekend.
It was such a relief to spend some time in nature. I realized I hadn't visited my mom in late May for quite some years and it really is such a special time of the year. Everything is so green and fresh.
I actually mentioned the logging that had taken place here in another Wednesday Walk post. The nice part about it is that they kept the birches and now there is a view. Can you see the lake in the picture above?
I was a bit late for the dandelions. They had already peaked. But I dug up some roots and now they are drying. I know it's better to do it earlier but I wanted to experiment a bit ๐
Here we are actually walking on a road, we are not in the forest anymore. My youngest brother also joined us for this walk.
I have always liked these road signs. It means it's enough space for two cars to meet there.
It was quite cloudy this day but once in a while, the sun came out from behind the clouds. The weather was perfect for a walk.
A lot of plants and flowers I don't know the name of.
I'm back in Stockholm again and I will do my best to make my current situation more enjoyable. Maybe it'll take more time to sell my flat. After all, it's not worth it if I feel exhausted all of the time.
I recently heard someone say:
Pay attention to how you spend your days. How you spend your days is how you spend your life.
That really hit me and I really need to make time for more things than my flat. Yes, I really hope to be able to leave Stockholm as soon as possible. But it's not worth sacrificing having a life in the meantime.

No, enjoy your life in the meantime if you can. I think your flat might sell sooner than you think, just a hunch. How annoying that the prices have dropped just as you get ready to sell.
I loved thsi walk - you take really good photos. I could hear the wind in the birches and feel the sun on my face. I forget how green Europe gets in the summer.

I have booked a flight ticket to Faro, Portugal though so quite soon I'll have a break from all of this regardless if my flat is sold or not.
