Blue sky, but only for 10 minutes

Blue Sky, But Only For 10 Minutes

It's getting really cold now. The days are much shorter and, following the storm, the leaves are all gone from the trees now. I tried going walking today but was discouraged by the freezing weather. This is probably my worst time of the year - the transition from Autumn to Winter. That's what it feels like anyway, even though we still have another 3 weeks or so of Autumn left.

I happened upon a shopping centre with two very large Christmas trees. All the decorations are out in my neighbourhood already but we don't have a proper town centre like other towns. I've been sort of a hermit lately due to a mixture of work-related engagements and personal choice. I'm grinding pretty hard at a project I'm doing at the moment because I have some hard targets to meet. I'm also reluctant to go out in this terrible weather :)

Going for a walk finally and taking some photos was great. I got to do some exercise, which was notably hard since I'd been sedentary, and got my blood flowing a bit. For some reason, and as if by some kind of miracle, the skies parted for about 10 minutes before returning to the dull grey conditions we had for the rest of the day. I managed to grab some photos during the minutes of a nice day we had haha.

Peace & Love,

Adé

I watch out more for blue skies these days as they mean my solar panels will work better. The shorter days mean I can't really get much, but it's something and I can charge up the battery on cheap rate so my bill will stay low.

Enjoy the sunshine when you find it.

Today was beautifully sunny but freeeezing! I actually prefer that to the dull days but it costs more to heat the house sadly :)
