How time flies, it feels like yesterday when mimy my long time 2go friend messaged me on whatsapp to tell me about the steemit hive platform that reward content creators....
I didn't doubt her, i asked for guidance on how to sign up which she did, it takes 2 weeks to get an account unlike now that we have instant account....
Signing up was the least of the problem, even though she told me what the platform was all about, i didn't really understand until i made my first post which was a flop but here i am today....
I have gained so much from the hive platform that i just can't help but be grateful, i could not have gone so far if i didn't join this platform...
- FRIENDS: I have made good friends both in my country and outside the country, this won't have been possible without the hive platform, i met people who have the same mindset and goal oriented like me....
- SKILLS: The difference is so clear, my post during my early days on the platform was awful, i make short 4 to 8 lines post but now i find it easier to make quality post and my editing skill is getting better too
- GROWTH: Slow but steady, i started with no hive power but here i am! Now a dolphin and i am aiming higher to be an orca...
Unfortunately those who we started this journey together left along the way, the dip made some to leave while some just think blogging is not their way and would prefer doing offline stuffs.
I also finally realized one thing, no matter what we are doing, we must always think about the future which is why investment is very important...
I have decided to start powering up my earning and have some influence on the blockchain! would love to see how far i can go...
My main target remain unchanged... 100 000 hive power and i don't care how long it is going to take me!
