Memories always floods your head when you are reminded of days past.

The wonders of the internet is the best since sliced bread. I am enjoying my day packing and watching replays of this mornings football games played out. The exciting close fought game between the Dutch East Indian company versus the Argentinian Spaniard conquestadors. I know these are not the real life name since both of these groups no longer exist today.

They say if you make enough noise your voice reverberates through the ages. Messi is really good to watch. I think the last person I fully enjoyed watching was Zinedine Zidane and both are well far apart in playing styles. The big Frenchie being known for rough play while the little conquestador is all technique. Both prolific and their presence felt the moment they stepped on the pitch of battle. Bar the missing swords and the muskets we are left with a ball being moved back and forwards into a small area the size of a fishes arse, ok not that small but tight enough when compared to the whole pitch.

I often wonder what would have been had I actually got obsessed with Football at the time I played the world game in high school. I was not the best but I did have the stamina and the strength, along with the gusto any army general would be proud to serve above me. To lead in battle. Of course I was busy getting distracted by the group of teen girls who cheered me when ever I played. I was a teen at the time so it does not look creepy LOL.

Those distractions earned me my peers bane and grace. Both admired and annoyed at since half the time spent between chatting up the chicks and keeping the ball between my feet at a full tilt run. Like I said I was not a very good player but that did not stop me from getting into the action. The rabble of boys frantically missing the whole idea of what a formation is all about. I mean why not. We did not get a coach in that public school. The teacher was too busy telling us off for slacking off at game days.

No training. No speeches. It was you play for the school but it does not mean you will be representing the school. I found that odd since we did play representing the school, since it was an inter school competition. Oh well the things that we experience and now look back on. Fond memories none the less.

I often think back to one particular game where we played against a school in my district competition who had nearly all their players being a grade competition players. One particular player played games with us for near half the game, until of course he went against me and ended up being somersaulted into the air as I walloped his foot on the ball. All clean and no calls against me since I basically kicked his foot using the ball attached to theirs. Glorious. My team mates loved me for a whole month, until I scored a goal in our own goal.

We cant be all perfect and the well wishes only went to far for me till they start getting me annoyed.
