Nunca hubiera visto la película "Wicked" de no haber sido por la insistencia de mi hija, en primer lugar, no soy fan de los musicales y luego, no tenía idea de qué trataba y aunque todo en ella es fantasía, me conmovió mucho, siento que no perdí mi tiempo.
No pretendo hacer una reseña, siento mucho respeto por quienes las hacen, sólo quiero contar esta experiencia que fue resaltante en mi día.
Esa película tiene dos partes, la primera, la vimos en casa el fin de semana, para poder ir al cine por la segunda, que aún está en exhibición en la ciudad donde vivo.
Mi hija organizó todo y sólo me notificó que el miércoles (hoy) al fin podríamos disfrutar "Wicked" en la pantalla gigante, también invitó a su prima y a un amigo.
Claro, ella sabía que hoy yo tendría dinero para llevarla, no siempre puedo.
I would never have seen the movie "Wicked" if it hadn't been for my daughter's insistence. First of all, I'm not a fan of musicals, and second, I had no idea what it was about. Even though it's all fantasy, it moved me deeply, and I feel like I didn't waste my time.
I don't intend to write a review—I have a lot of respect for those who do—I just want to share this experience that stood out for me today.
The movie has two parts. We watched the first part at home over the weekend so we could go to the theater for the second part, which is still showing in the city where I live.
My daughter organized everything and just told me that on Wednesday (today) we could finally enjoy "Wicked" on the big screen. She also invited her cousin and a friend.
Of course, she knew that today I would have money to take her, which isn't always the case.

La película ya había comenzado, pero supongo que sólo nos perdimos una parte de la introducción, porque no sentí que me perdiera de información valiosa.
Fuimos los únicos en comprar entradas para esa función, se sentía bien tener esa sala sólo para nosotros, era como estar una función privada.
The movie was at 2:00 PM, the only slot available in our schedule for the day. As soon as I got home from work, we had lunch and left the house. I picked up our special guests and we headed to the theater.
We were running a little late, and it was raining, but I was hopeful that we could arrive after the commercials but before the movie started.
I parked and told my daughter to go ahead and buy the tickets because they could go faster than me.
The movie had already started, but I guess we only missed part of the introduction because I didn't feel like I was missing any valuable information.
We were the only ones who bought tickets for that show. It felt good to have the theater all to ourselves; it was like being at a private performance.

Pienso que si no somos mejores cada día, estamos rodeados de las personas incorrectas o simplemente no queremos serlo.
After watching both films, I noticed how the symbiosis between the protagonists made them better people, each taking the best from the other. It was a subtle process, but in the end, the change was remarkable.
No one is perfect. As humans, we tend to make mistakes, but it would be wonderful if we could adopt from others what adds to us, because it is also true that we all have something good to offer. However, it often happens that we copy the bad or let ourselves be dampened by what does not shine.
I think that if we are not becoming better every day, we are surrounded by the wrong people or simply do not want to be better.
Salimos complacidos de la sala de cine y fuimos por un helado, en el camino vimos el enorme árbol que decora la entrada del centro comercial y quise algunas fotografías.
La verdad es que me esfuerzo un poco por tener fotos, porque no es mi inclinación natural tomarlas, pero pienso en que las necesito para mi blog y encuentro la motivación perfecta para capturarlas.
Al final me siento satisfecha, porque cada imagen son momentos que quedan congelados en el tiempo y, al publicarlas aquí, quedan grabadas para la historia.
We left the movie theater feeling pleased and went for ice cream. On the way, we saw the huge tree decorating the entrance to the shopping center, and I wanted to take some pictures.
The truth is that I make an effort to take photos, because it's not something I naturally do, but I think about how I need them for my blog and find the perfect motivation to capture them.
In the end, I feel satisfied, because each image is a moment frozen in time, and by publishing them here, they are recorded for history.
