"“THE MARKET- A Hip Store Part 2"
I wrote about this store called The Market 4 years ago. When I moved to Nova Scotia, Canada, I lived downtown. It was fun to check this kind of funky store. However, I don't often go downtown these days because of COVID-19 and also I moved away from downtown. I had a chance to check The Market just before Christmas. The Market moved to a new location and finished reforming. I took my previous dog here 4 years ago so, this store is a very memorable place for me.
This store is very unique because they sell many different things for kids to adults including pets. All generations are able to enjoy shopping at this store. There are kids' stuff and clothes, pet stuff, books, gifts, local artist artwork, clothes, fancy goods, and accessories. Also, they sell specialty pipes and smoking stuff. When I moved to Canada, marijuana wasn't legal. In 2018, marijuana became legal in Canada. The pipe section is very interesting. They are very artistic. I don't buy them but it's fun to see or to take photos of smoking gear. There were many stores like this in Japan before but I wonder about these days...?

"カッコイイお店 ザ・マーケット パート２”
４年前に このお店ザ・マーケット について投稿したことがあります。カナダのノバスコシア州に移住したての頃、町中に住んでいました。町のかわいい店をチェックするのは楽しかったです。最近では引っ越ししたのとコロナ禍もあり、町にはほとんど行くことはありません。クリスマス前に町に用事があったのでザ・マーケットに寄ってみました。お店は移転してリフォームも完成していました。４年前は以前飼っていた犬を連れて行ったので思い出深い店です。
子どもから大人、さらにペット用品まで買い物を楽しめるとてもユニークな店です。子供の小物や服、ペットの小物、本、ギフト、地元アーティストのアート、服、さまざまなグッズ、アクセサリーなどがところせましと並んでいます。それからこの店の特徴でもあるパイプグッズが売っています。４年前はまだマリファナが合法ではありませんでしたが、２０１８年には合法になりました。このパイプ売り場はとても興味深いです。芸術的なパイプがたくさん並んでいます。わたしは購入しませんが、見たり写真を撮るのが楽しいです。昔は日本にもこのような店が結構ありましたが今はどうなのでしょうか…？

When you enter the store, there are many interesting goods near the counter. The atmosphere is very bright. This store was a bookstore before. Their reforming was perfect!
店に入るとカウンター周りにおもしろそうな商品がたくさんあります。いい雰囲気です。ここは以前本屋でした。完璧なリフォームです。
There are books and kids' stuff. I like the mobiles on the ceiling. Everything looks cute.
本と子供用品が並んでいます。天井からぶら下がっているモビールがとてもかわいらしいです。
There are cool town name logos on hoodies and stuff. They are one of a kind.
町の名前が入ったロゴパーカーなどが並んでいます。ここでしか手に入らない独自の商品です。
There are cool socks, caps, and tuques.
おしゃれな靴下や帽子が並んでいます。
There is fancy paper and posters.
かわいらしい紙やポスターがあります。
There is a smoke shop downstairs. I like the paintings on the wall.
スモークショップが地下にあります。壁に描かれた絵が素敵です。
There are books about smoke or weed. I like the logo on the mirror.
スモークやマリファナに関する書物が並んでいます。鏡のロゴがおもしろいです。
There are many colorful pipes and gear. Some of them are very valuable. The colorful ones are very artistic.
色鮮やかなパイプやギアが並んでいます。とても効果なものもあります。カラフルなのはとても芸術的です。
These trays look very cute. If you don't use them for smoking, they are still cute for interior or coffee time or something. I like the high panda mug.
かわいらしいトレーです。インテリアやコーヒータイムなどにも合いそうです。ハイなパンダのマグもかわいいです。
It is a pretty Christmas tree. I like the botox ornament. It's funny.
かわいいクリスマスツリーです。ボトックスのオーナメントがおもしろいです。
