Die Slow

You have to die slow
so that in the end it doesn't hurt,
so that in the end death
be just like the extension of a dream,
like waking up the next day
but elsewhere,
in another destination,
in another otherness.

You have to die slow,
but without fears, without regrets,
no claims for any,
without missing what is left,
without giving concessions t
o the one who observes
on the other side of the glass,
without being afraid to say goodbye.

You have to die slow,
but intensely,
enjoying the agony of each day,
enjoying how the world turns
and time caresses
and it writes us line by line
until you get to the last line.

You have to die slow
Step by Step,
kiss by kiss,
dream by dream,
without contemplations or considerations,
so that in the end you don't have to settle accounts,
just sign the delivery sheet
and leave with balance in favor.

You have to die slow,
no matter what tomorrow gestates,
nor what yesterday remains,
that at the end of the day
being born is just a notch
on the wall of existence,
and dying only the end
of a complete turn
of the hands of the clock.
