Hey guys,
I cannot believe it´s been 10 days since my last Liketu post, wow, time flies! Now let me make up for the delay today with a special post that will teleport you into the brutal medieval times long centuries ago. That´s where the battles took place that a group of history enthusiasts from Krakow and other parts of Poland reconstruct at the Krakus Hill in Krakow every year.
The event is known as the Rekawka Festival and it´s an absolutely amazing experience to be there and see it with your own eyes. This year, the festival took place on April 19 and there were more than 300 people in ancient warrior costumes to reconstruct the battles. I took a lot of photos during this fascinating event so I will split this post into 2 parts.
Here comes the first one where you will see some of the costumes as well as period artifacts and other items that used to be sold at the medieval markets back in the Dark Ages 😉 For the "battle pictures", stay tuned for the second part of this photo series that is coming to you through the one and only Liketu platform on Hive!
