Story of me and my family part 150 : Visit Wat Muang Kham, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province Thailand, Another Tai Yai style temple.

Hello everyone. My wife and I like to travel when we have free time. Sometimes we want to relax and enjoy ourselves when we are tired. Travel for us is happiness. Several days ago I went to Old Wat Phra That Huai Bon in the district where we live. When we go to Old Wat Phra That Huai Bon. We had an hour before we had to pick up our son and granddaughter from school. So I searched for a temple near Old Wat Phra That Huai Bon from Google Maps. And I see Wat Muang Kham, Which is a temple that we do not know and have never been to this temple. And of course we want to go to this temple.

When we arrived at Wat Muang Kham. So I knew that this temple was a small temple. And this temple is a Tai Yai style temple. Before I take everyone to see the atmosphere of this temple. I would like to share some brief information about the temple first. Wat Muang Kham is located in Wiang Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is a community temple in Huai Bon village. And the temple was allowed to be established as a temple and was built in year A.D. 1937 or 87 years ago. But there is no information that Wat Muang Kham received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree.

The atmosphere in Wat Muang Kham, in front of the temple there is a name plate as large as a person. There is an entrance arch to the temple built in the Tai Yai style. And planting plants near the entrance. But the interesting plant is roselle. I just see red roselle for the first time. It looks beautiful and strange to me. And i like it. On the pillars of the left and right walls between the entrances in the arch, There are 2 lion statues. Additionally, the view outside the temple is a village atmosphere.

When we walked inside the temple. We see the wide yard with trees and large architecture. This architecture is built of bricks plastered with cement. And built in Tai Yai style. I think this architecture is a buddha image hall (viharn). I think this architecture is a buddha image hall (viharn) for religious ceremonies. There was also the monk's house and a Tai Yai style building that I don't know what building was.

Although this temple is small and not as beautiful as other Thai temples. But we enjoy the temple. And we are glad and lucky to have the opportunity to visit this temple.
