Greetings everyone! This blog will show you how people in my village do fishing business during the dry season, when there isn't a single drop of rain unless it comes to rainy season. I have met with all of his daughters; they are sitting together checking out the cartoons and children's activities, which look so fun.

A truck for driving his daughter to school as well as delivered goods. Seems like the truck count as their second home which helps them alot both in life and education. Clearly, they actually cook here and would having meal together with three daughters.

Catching Time

It was 4 pm, when I arrived it was already 30 minutes gone that he walked to caught the fish in the lake. Now, I don't have a clue what to do besides picturing the water lilies as they blossom and looks so fine.

He try to pull. Well, there are still more fish so I think he might not going home at this time yet. Haven't updated you for awhile about the land condition which you can see now it was actually dry and nearly become droughts due to the lack of water.

The size of the fish was mostly very small, even smaller than usual. However as today wasn't many people comes for searching fish which means as a single family they can caught it more easily and even larger compare to the rainy season that involved with many people doing this fishing business.

In my village, most people work for different types of trading, and most of them are related to agriculture, a small business actually, like growing vegetables, fruit, and nuts for selling at the local market. As I said, it is obviously also depends on the season; during this dry one, the number of people going fishing is less than it was in the month when it was raining.

The father of daughter after he catches the fish, he continues the process as he always do. He said he needs to go back home before 5 pm as not to miss the costumer order.

Preparing all the fishing stuff and their kitchen material for cooking into the truck heading to home. When they get home, indeed they will divided the fish and preparing for selling at the local market immediately, that is how we noticed because if you leave them overnight without refrigerator, all the fish must be dies. The case is that they don't own a refrigerator at all even more it was a bit hard to find ice.

I know it's been awhile since I haven't updated you about the fishing life, well this is count as the third family that I have shown you. A lot of us being respect with the job without even care how dirty we will get. But as walking into the lake, the thing is to always be careful with the legs or even a whole body as there was always dangerous lively animal underground.
