Every Color of the Winter!

To me, the wonder of winter is the colorful flowers. Winter is comfortable here; it's not that chilly but somewhat warm and gentle compared to other countries. And it's a season of color. I know it sounds surprising, but here in South Asian countries, winter means a lot of colorful flowers and green trees.

If you do not believe me, let me share the photos of our garden. You will see all the colors of the color palate.

This is the terrace garden of my in-laws. It's not a fully organized garden, but you will see a lot of recycled pots, and it's somewhat random. But when it's this much colorful, who cares about the fanciness?

This is the time of Chrysanthemum!

IDK when was the last time I saw so many Chrysanthemums, so many different colors at once? The sight was mindblowing. They don't have any smell but they last forever. That's their magic!

The garden wouldn't be completed without some Aster and Moss Rose. The purple one was so beautiful, the mobile camera didn't do justice to its beauty.

Bougainvillea and Hibiscus are not winter flowers but they made the lace look much more vibrant, it's like they are fulfilling the whole beauty.

Petunia is a pure winter flower, the plant will also dry out after the winter. This temporary beauty is to cherish for this winter.

The red Verbena and purple Gomphrena grew randomly without any active care. But look at them! Who would say they are not taken care of?

Last but not least some white Chrysanthemum and good old Lantana.

The terrace is just around 1000 sqft. Who would have guessed this small space could be the home for this many beauties? I sometimes wonder how much this place can hold and how the small pots can grow so much. It's nature that makes it happen, it's the soil not just our care and love. If we were out of sync this would never be possible.
