Hi, hi, world! I love creating my own version of beauty. In this life, we often find it difficult to find beautiful places because of time constraints, to travel. But that doesn't have to discourage us.
I think of course we can make our hearts happy with hobbies around us. Whether it's plants, pets, decorating the house according to our wishes, and so on.
I like planting, besides cooking of course. Before I got married, I liked to keep and collect ornamental plants. But since getting married I actually enjoy planting edible plants, the real instinct as a housewife appears ehehe
The past few days I haven't been feeling well, I'm exhausted from preparing new land, cleaning the new land so that it is ready to be planted. But the newcomers in my garden actually make me excited again.
I will show you the newcomers in my garden who make my garden bright.
I have been planning to add colorful flowers to my garden for a long time, but I am still looking for seedlings around me. I do not plant flowers from seeds because it will take a long time. I want the flower plants to immediately provide beauty benefits while repelling pests.
I focus on flower plants that can attract pests, so that pests can move from vegetable plants to flower plants.
I have two chrysanthemums. There are white chrysanthemums and purple chrysanthemums. Look very beautiful.
Rather than buying cut chrysanthemums, it is better to buy real chrysanthemums that are alive. Even though the flowers will wither, they will be replaced by other flower buds. I am very happy with this, in fact, my husband is the one who found and bought these beautiful flowers for me. 😊😊😊
In addition to chrysanthemums, there are marigold flowers that my husband brought 😊 yeay my husband managed to understand what I wanted!
Since the two marigold plants were still planted in small polybags, I moved them to a larger white polybag.
The new arrivals in my garden seemed to beautify my garden and created an area like a small studio. This is very useful when I'm going to make a video.
In addition to the beautiful flowers, I bought orange tree seeds. The crazy thing is that I bought them online!
Around $2. It's really cheap because this orange plant is already bearing fruit.
This orange plant is a type of "shantang" orange which is small but has a beautiful orange color and tastes sweet. I can't wait to see these oranges grow bigger 😊
I am grateful that my mini garden has actually become a cure for me. Some of the videos I posted on Youtube Shorts also got crazy views of more 60 K of views!

I had keffir lime (jeruk purut) on my balcony, so it's actually not having a strong sun rays the whole day. When we left for Indonesia I already put lots of water on a tray under the pot.
Citrus plants normally don't need much water so I thought it should survive until we got back home.
But I still can't help but being worried and my worries did have a good reason.
When I arrived home I saw that all the leaves are dry 😭.
But I still have a little hope that I will still manage to revive it again, cos the lower stem is still strong and shows some living signs.
Wish me luck that it survives 🙏.
I should have brought it in the bathroom instead.
The summer is just too hot perhaps.

I planted some marigold seeds this year and they are growing very well. No flowers yet but I think there are some buds coming along. They're doing a lot better than my veggies, which doesn't seem to be growing much. Even the tomato plants are growing quite slow this year. Maybe it's still quite cold most of the time. Today we are only 16 degrees and very windy
In my old garden, I had many marigold plants and they grew very fast, easy to propagate by stem cuttings
In Indonesia, there is abundant sunlight balanced with high rainfall.
It is very tricky there, having to struggle with the seasons changing very quickly. Veggies needed more sunlight and thats why in yout garden the veggies not growing much.
But I am curious about sunflowers. I failed in the past because I didn't do the seedlings first. I will try again.

You have a beautiful garden. I love plants but I have little space in my apartment. I have no flowering plants, only one called Eucaris or also known as Amazon lily which gives beautiful white flowers, but only a couple of them once a year, otherwise I have a couple of aromatic herbs and other ornamental plants and several succulents.
I hope those orange's plants give you some sweet fruits.
Oh, I also like the white lilies. They are so beautiful. Water lilies are probably easier to grow.
If your apartment has access to sunlight in the windows, you can grow small herbs. Glad you can still growing plants 😊 really helps to keep mind relax
