Este tema se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos y es que cuando comence a jugar Splinterlans y mientras fui aprendiendo poco a poco sobre el juego siempre tuve claro que hablar de Dragones era sinonimo de hablar de un mana alto, pero la verdad es que este splinter tambien se desempeña muy bien en mana medio y bajo, y me he vuelto un poco fanatico de encontrar esos equipos de mana bajo que son muy poderosos gracias a los dragones. Hoy traigo una batalla haciendo honor a esto y tambien otras mas para mostrar la versatilidad de los dragones, asi que ¡Bienvenido!

This main topic of low mana with dragons has become one of my favorites and when I started playing Splinterlans and while I was learning little by little about the game I always had clear that talking about Dragons was synonymous with talking about high mana, but the truth is that this splinter also performs very well in medium and low mana, and I've become a bit fanatic to find those low mana teams that are very powerful thanks to the dragons. Today I bring a battle honoring this and also some others to show the versatility that dragons have, so welcome to the post!

Tenemos disponibles 16 cartas de 5 puntos de mana o menos, que son las que yo considero de mana bajo.

7 con ataque Melee.
4 con ataque Ranged.
4 con ataque magico.
1 sin ataque.

Si bien el splinter en este rango de mana se decanta mas por el ataque Melee la realidad es que puedes combinarlos muy bien entre ellos y enviar alineaciones bastante poderosas. Por otro lado podemos ver que de esas 16 solo 9 estan disponibles en formato Modern.

We have available a total of 16 cards of 5 mana points or less, which are what I consider low mana.

4 with Magic attack.

Although the splinter in this range of mana is more inclined to the Melee attack, the reality is that you can combine them very well with each other and send quite powerful lineups. On the other hand we can see that of those 16 only 9 are available in Modern format.

Ahora cuando se trata de los invocadores practicamente todos te serviran para mana bajo, salvo Byzantine Kitty que tiene un costo de mana de 7 puntos, el resto es amigable para el mana bajo y 6 de ellos estaran disponibles para el formato Modern. De todos ellos yo destaco a Daria Dragonscale y Sthispa, el nuevo invocador Riftwatchers, pero todos te serviran para armar una buena estrategia.

Now when the conversation comes to dragon summoners, practically all of them will be useful for low mana battles, except Byzantine Kitty which has a mana cost of 7 points, the rest are low mana friendly and 6 of them will be available for the Modern format. Of all of them I highlight Daria Dragonscale and Sthispa, the new summoner Riftwatchers, but all of them will be useful to build a good strategy.

Fog of War + Close Range; 20 Mana cap

Esta batalla es un ejemplo perfecto de lo que me gusta jugar ahora con Dragones.

como el ruleset tenia Close Range decidi usar a Quix the Devious como mi invocador.
Vulguine como mi tanque por su habilidad Dogde, con la reduccion de velocidad del invocador tiene mucho chance de esquivar ataques enemigos y ademas aumenta su vida con su primera habilidad.
Twilight Basilisk es una carta casi obligada en estas batallas de dragon con mana bajo por su capacidad de aturdir enemigos.
Dax Paragon es un soporte excelente en este tipo de batallas porque cuesta solo 2 putnos de mana y ademas su habilidad lo hace perfecto para combinarlo con cartas como Pelacor Conjurer.
Dhampir Infiltrator es otra carta obligatoria por su combinacion de habilidades, la capacidad de hacer 4 puntos de daño por turno es mortal para este nivel de mana.
Celestial Harpy es otro soporte excelente, una combinacion de habilidades perfecta que se complementa excelente con el invocador y que tambien cuesta muy poco mana.
Naga Assassin tiene mucha velocidad, y con su habilidad mas el debuff del oponente te da una gran ventaja contra las cartas enemigas que tengan Sneak.

This battle is a perfect example of how I like to play Dragons now.

Since the ruleset had Close Range I decided to use Quix the Devious as my summoner.
Vulguine as my tank because of his Dogde ability, with the summoner's speed reduction he has a good chance of dodging enemy attacks and also increases his health with his first ability.
Twilight Basilisk** is a must in these low mana dragon battles because of its ability to stun enemies.
Dax Paragon is an very excellent support for the team in this kind of battles because it costs only 2 mana and its amplify ability makes it perfect to combine with cards like Pelacor Conjurer.
Dhampir Infiltrator is another mandatory card for its combination of skills, the ability to do 4 points of damage per turn is deadly for this level of mana.
Celestial Harpy is another excellent support for this kind of low mana battles, a perfect combination of skills that complements excellent with the summoner and also costs very little mana.
Naga Assassin has a lot of speed, and with his ability plus the opponent's debuff gives you a great advantage against enemy cards that have Sneak.

En la primera ronda mi Vulguine tuvo mala fortuna y cayo, aunque la combinacion de daño de mis cartas le provoco el mismo destino al Pelacor Conjurer enemigo.

In the first round my Vulguine was unlucky and fell, although the damage combination of my cards caused the same fate to the enemy Pelacor Conjurer.

El as bajo la manga en esta batalla fue mi Dhampir Infiltrator, que cuando llegara a la posición de tanque iba a tener en frente a un equipo enemigo que estaba debilitado por el transcurso de la batalla y preparado para acabar con este desafío.

The ace up my sleeve in this battle was my Dhampir Infiltrator, who when he reached the tank position was going to face an enemy team weakened by the course of the battle and ready to finish this challenge with his mortal combination of abilities.

La combinacion de mis dragones fue determinante para esta batalla y fue gracias a eso que pude conseguir esta gran victoria. Una batalla emocionante de principio a fin.

Entender los puntos debiles donde le puedes sacar ventaja a tu enemigo es primordial para convertirte en un buen jugador ¡enfocate en mejorar eso y veras como tu winrate aumentará muchisimo!
