I thought that I could finish my daughter's shirt dress and wrote about it.
Unfortunately I couldn't find right buttons in stores. I just needed simple brown buttons but it seemed brown ones are not popular 😅
So I decided to write a short post that my daughter started her first step of a kind of knitting.
My daughter was interested in Strickliesel when she saw them in craft stores. I didn't know it's English name and it was interesting to read about it on Wikipedia.
It is called "Knitting Nancy" in English. Such a cute name :) And "Knitting spools are the oldest members of the knitting loom family, with a history dating back over 400 years" according to the wikipedia.
We bought one during summer holidays.
Still my daughter needs my support when thread drops and she extends thread, but she does most of the part by herself with tolerance. She said she will make a necklace or bracelet.
I look forward to do needlework with her in the near future. It is one of my dreams 😊
That's it! Happy Needlework Monday to all 🧶

I remember having one of those 🙂.
Some strands plaited together would make a lovely necklace.
That woven yarn could also be used like a bulky yarn, as well. I have never used one of those small weaving tools but I love the idea of children weaving on something so portable.
