ISTANBUL GRILL'S AT ARAB STREET ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

Singapore, like any other country in the world, has its own hidden gems. The Arab Street is one of them and also the most popular and busiest street. This is not the first time I've walked down this path, and nothing has changed.
This place provided a variety of restaurants and cuisine; trust me, if you walk along this street, you will have difficulty choosing or selecting a restaurant. While walking throughout the place, some individuals may approach you and give you their menu, encourage you, and advertise their cuisine. To be honest, making a decision is quite difficult. That night, I went back and forth, unsure of which restaurant to choose, and most locations were as busy.

When I finally made a decision, I went to the ISTANBUL GRILLS. It wasn't as crowded, and there were plenty of tables to select from. I was also wondering why there weren't more people dining there, but my friends had already eaten there and said the meal was great.
We enter the restaurants and choose to eat inside rather than outdoors since there are some people around who are quite noisy and have been drinking, and even though it is not the weekend, the place is packed and locals and tourists are mingled together.

The inside of the building astounded me. The design and lighting enhanced the interior's attractiveness. This restaurant is culturally relevant. The design was not lavish, but it was attractive, especially when you look at the wall, the chandelier, and the vase.
While we were seated at our preferred table, the staff quickly offered us the menu and set up the table. He was kind and helpful in answering my queries. He waited patiently for us to decide what to order.

My companion ordered the CHICKEN BURRITO WITH FRIES AND SALAD, while I chose the DONER LAMB WITH PILAF RICE AND SALAD. We also had HUMMUS, which I had only heard of in a cooking show, so I was quite interested and delighted to eat it for the first time. It was served first as we waited for our dinner, and it looked excellent from the way they prepared and presented it to us.

Hummus is a famous Middle Eastern dip from mashed chickpeas blended with garlic, lemon juice, and tahini. In Middle Eastern cuisine this is used as a dip with bread or pita.

I did not regret ordering the Doner Lamb since it was delicious. The pilaf rice is fascinating since it has a strand of noodles; when I look it up, it appears to be fried rice in which you may put or combine things in it, such as veggies.
After we finished our food, we had dessert, and my companion chose the Baclava while I ordered the Istanbul Classic Ice Cream.

I had the opportunity to taste both, and I was not disappointed. I definitely suggest this place.

That's it for today's food adventure, hivers; I hope I didn't make you hungry with this blog. Until my next food blog.
