Me causo mucha risa ver en redes sociales cómo se quejaban de lo largo que estaba siendo el mes de enero, llegaban incluso a decir: Hoy es 37 de enero, como una forma de plantear que el mes caminaba muy lento y pesado. Para mí fue un mes muy dulce, quizá por eso no sentí que iba lento.
Aunque enero es el mes en que la mayoría empieza a hacer dieta, debido a los (deliciosos) excesos decembrinos, yo no puedo unirme a esa tendencia. ¿Por qué? Pues debido a que es un mes en el que muchos familiares están de cumpleaños, por tanto, los dulces no se hacen esperar.
I laughed a lot when I saw on social networks how people complained about how long January was being, they even went as far as to say: Today is the 37th of January, as a way of saying that the month was very slow and heavy. For me it was a very sweet month, maybe that's why I didn't feel it was slow.
Although January is the month when most people start to diet, due to the (delicious) excesses of the holidays, I can't join that trend. Why? Well, because it is a month in which many family members have birthdays, so the sweets are not long in coming.
Es por eso que le llamo Dulce Enero, literalmente eso representa para este primer mes del año, un mes donde preparo y degusto variados postres, no puedo negarme a hacerlo, pero debo confesar que este año hice todo lo que estuvo a mi alcance para evitar comer tantos dulces, de igual forma algunos gramos (¡optimismo a flote!) se quedaron en mí producto del gran manjar. ¡No me quejo! Los postres estuvieron perfectos.
That's why I call it Sweet January, literally that's what it represents for this first month of the year, a month where I prepare and taste a variety of desserts, I can't refuse to do it, but I must confess that this year I did everything in my power to avoid eating so many sweets, even though some grams (optimism afloat!) remained in me due to the great delicacy. I'm not complaining! The desserts were perfect.
Este enero hasta comí helados, otro regalo más para mi mamá por ser este su mes de cumpleaños. Degustamos nuestro helado mientras disfrutamos de la vista al mar. ¡Ventajas de vivir en la costa!
Enero estuvo lleno de galletas de mantequilla, una receta que ya he compartido con anterioridad y que es estupenda, no hay manera de que estas galletas no queden sumamente ricas y además hermosas, estas galletas fueron para mi primito que cumplía sus seis años.

For my mom's birthday I decided to make a carrot cake, which is one of her favorites. To give it a little more appeal I prepared a powdered sugar bath with a few drops of water and diluted some arequipe, the cover photo has the final sample of this rich cake.
Para ese día mi mamá recibió muchas sorpresas dulces, pues no solo tendría el pastel de zanahoria que yo había preparado. Nos reunimos en casa un grupo de familiares, una tía llevó una torta de piña y la esposa de un primo una torta de parchita. ¡Toda una fiesta de tortas hechas con frutas! También pudimos degustar de un exquisito quesillo.
Le comento que todos llevaron a sus casas sus grandes pedazos de torta.¡Vaya que nuestro diente dulce fue feliz!
For that day my mom received many sweet surprises, because she would not only have the carrot cake that I had prepared. We gathered at home a group of relatives, an aunt brought a pineapple cake and the wife of a cousin brought a parchita cake, a feast of cakes made with fruit! We were also able to taste an exquisite quesillo.
I can tell you that everyone took home their big pieces of cake and our sweet tooth was happy!

Enero, febrero y hasta diciembre los meses son dulces siempre hay alguien que celebra algo y los dulces pululan por todos lados ese biscocho de zanahoria se ve delicioso aunque soy poca amante de los dulces pero igual lo disfruto cuando puedo y cuando me apetece
En mi caso Enero es el más dulce :) Desde el 01 postres y más postres.

Si son dos pero mi hijito comió tres veces torta jajaja, una que le llevé al colegio, otra que le hizo mi suegrita jajaja y la oficial que le hice en casa con todo los hierros, que fue la decoración que publique hace unos días 😜😄🤗
