Some of the colorful food we ate on vacation 🍛🥗🌯

  • Shawarma is one of the famous street food in the middle east. This is the Egyptian only chicken plate version with some fries, buns and delicious white garlic sauce. We ate it for a couple of times, and always at the "GAD" restaurant. You must try this if you haven't. It's great.

  • This is the basic arrangement of spices, grains and seeds in just one part of the huge "Gomla" supermarket. I fell in love with these orange-beige bags. Would like to arrange and organize the kitchen pantry in the same way at our home. What do you think about it? Is it cute?

  • We ate these when we were visiting Coptic area and I think my fiance's sister had falafel in a tortilla, while two of us took sharwarma, again. :D We also tried Turkish coffee there which was really strong and seemed to have some extra spices in it. Strange but interesting taste.

  • I will also show you one of our breakfasts in the apartment, before going to the beach in Hurghada. Pastry with cheese and beef, bread, chicken salami, cheese, pistachios, sesame chocolate cream spread, yogurt and instant coffee.

  • Who is willing to hop over to Luxor and get us all lots of iced cantaloupe juice? Delicious, beautiful, wonderful, refreshing, AMAZING taste, a m a z i n g. You don't know how much I would like to drink one right now.

  • Koshari is a traditional Egyptian staple, mixing chick peas, pasta, fried onions, zesty tomato sauce, rice and brown lentils. It's spicy, savory and tastyyyyy. This is one of the main dishes you must try when you visit Egypt. We ate it at Abou Tarek in Downton, Cairo. They have the friendliest staff in the world and they'll recommend you to get a sutlijash for dessert right away, or come back another day for it, which is what we did. <3

Hi @bibana

Please read our community rules, especially number 4, which says:

Every user new to Hive, or new to Foodies Bee Hive, must include a minimum of three photos showing their face (of the total number of photos in each post), making their recipes.

So in your next posts, we hope you respect this rule.

We also recommend that you read this post carefully, it explains each of our community rules:

https://peakd.com/hive-120586/@foodiesunite/community-rules-update-2024-engspn-8gb

And this other too

https://peakd.com/hive-120586/@foodiesunite/engesp-suggestions-for-writing-posts-in-the-foodies-bee-hive-community

Sorry for my mistake. I will read it and delete this blog, but, can you tell me in which community is it suposed to be as it looks like now? Should I post it to some Travel community cause it's not a homemade food, or to some other food community? Thanks in advance. <3

You shouldn't have deleted it, just take our observation into account for future posts.

You can make your presentation post in Hive in the community you choose.

I hadn't heard of Koshari before, it looks very interesting, it has to be an intriguing mix of flavors and textures.
As common as kebabs can be, I think that's one of the right places to try them and get a good understanding of what their original flavor is.
Nice walking around eating, keep enjoying!

Thank youu <3

keep enjoying!
