RE: Signs of Lemons ahead

in Natural Medicine3 months ago

I am impressed, I have never seen pink lemon blossoms before, I have always seen them white. I have a lemon tree, which got mites on it and that has prevented it from loading on a regular basis. Yesterday I commented to @kennyroy that my husband read somewhere, to dilute a teaspoon of baking soda per liter of water, and with that solution spray twice a week to the lemon tree, to remove these pests. I will start this week and then report back on how this alternative worked out for me. Greetings.

Oh yes please let me know how it goes? You can see the blackish fungus on some of the leaves and I think that is what has delayed the budding this year. I’m keen to know if the bicarbonate and water works though! That’s an easy fix.

I even bought biological bio-controllers, because as I am raising melipona bees I can't use anything toxic, and they helped me to control leafminers in mandarins, but they haven't had any effect on the lemon yet. I will let you know when I have results. I think I'll even make a post about it.
