[ENG-SPN] Synarchy: the utopian dream of some forgotten knights / Sinarquía: el sueño utópico de unos caballeros olvidados

There are places that, regardless of the time elapsed or the circumstances of an era that seems inevitably determined to advance blindly into the future, forgetting the wonderful details of its past, continue to defy the imagination, guarding, with unusual zeal, the arcane mysteries that some men, anonymous and reduced to dust carried by the wind, but who in their day were eminently wise, left as a legacy to a posterity, which, in no way, could be supposed to suffer from indifference, sunk in the deep intellectual lethargy of the poppy of oblivion. What has always interested me the least, within the formidable mythology that surrounds a medieval order of chivalry, which, still, at a time when Artificial Intelligence allows us or is about to do so, to become programmers of worlds at measure, it is meddling in something so embarrassingly materialistic, like thinking about the final destination of their supposed wealth. I am referring, of course, to the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon: the Knights Templar.

It is true that everyone is free to search for the treasures they deem appropriate, but, particularly, when I find myself in places as special as this one -it may not seem so to you, but if one day you have the opportunity to visit Spain, I recommend that you take a walk around here- I cannot help but think that, in front of me, I have in view part of that immense treasure of legends: a spectacular sacred structure, built well into the twelfth century, following all the guidelines of Sacred Geometry and being so precise, to the point that, with those supposedly rudimentary methods of the time, it is geometrically located in the central point of the Iberian Peninsula and at an equal distance from the northernmost capes: Creus and Finisterre. But, in addition to these portents, which the Templars used to reveal in many of their most relevant constructions, which has always caught my attention - and don't think that I don't think about it today, given the enormous brutalities that we are living in the supposed name of 'Religion' - is that, this medieval order, which was little more than stoned for reasons of power and finances, advocated imposing on the world something as beautiful, but unfortunately, as utopian, as the Synarchy: a single Religion and a single world Government. But, as Calderón de la Barca said: life is a dream and the Templars are dreams.

Hay lugares, que, sin importar el tiempo transcurrido ni tampoco las circunstancias de una época que parece irremediablemente empeñada en avanzar a ciegas hacia el futuro, olvidándose de los maravillosos pormenores de su pasado, continúan desafiando la imaginación, custodiando, con un celo inusitado, los arcanos misterios que unos hombres, anónimos y reducidos a polvo que lleva el viento, pero que en su día fueron eminentemente sabios, dejaron como legado a una posteridad, que, en modo alguno, cabría suponer que adolecería de indiferencia, sumida en el profundo letargo intelectual de la adormidera del olvido. Lo que menos me ha interesado siempre, dentro de la formidable mitología que envuelve a una orden de caballería medieval, que, todavía, en una época en la que la Inteligencia Artificial nos permite o está a punto de hacerlo, convertirnos en programadores de mundos a medida, es inmiscuirme en algo tan bochornosamente materialista, como pensar en el destino final de sus supuestas riquezas. Me refiero, cómo no, a la Orden de los Pobres Caballeros de Cristo y del Templo de Salomón: los caballeros templarios.

Cierto es, que cada uno es libre de buscar los tesoros que considere oportuno, pero, particularmente, cuando me encuentro en lugares tan especiales como este -puede que a ustedes no se lo parezca, pero si algún día tienen la oportunidad de visitar España, les recomiendo que se den una vuelta por aquí- no puedo por menos que pensar, que, frente a mí, tengo a la vista parte de ese inmenso tesoro de las leyendas: una estructura sagrada espectacular, construida, bien terciado el siglo XII, siguiendo todas las directrices de la Geometría Sagrada y siendo tan precisa, hasta el punto de que, con aquellos métodos, supuestamente rudimentarios de la época, está geométricamente enclavada en el punto central de la Península Ibérica y a una distancia igual de los cabos más septentrionales: Creus y Finisterre. Pero, además, de estos portentos, que los templarios solían poner de manifiesto en muchas de sus construcciones más relevantes, lo que siempre me ha llamado poderosamente la atención -y no crean que no pienso actualmente en ello, a tenor de las enormes brutalidades que estamos viviendo en el supuesto nombre de la ‘Religión’- es que, esta orden medieval, que fue poco menos que lapidada por motivos de poder y finanzas, abogaba por imponer en el mundo, algo tan hermoso, pero desgraciadamente, tan utópico, como la Sinarquía: una sola Religión y un solo Gobierno mundial. Pero, como decía Calderón de la Barca: la vida es sueño y los templarios, sueños son.
