I always liked narrow gravel roads because they are just a challenge to be precise when you don't have the place for an error. If you go too wide, it is a very good chance that you will hit some rock beside the road and the result would be a retirement.
This special stage of WRC Rally Sardinia is called Monte Lerno and it is the most known because of the Miki's Jump, a big jump called on Italian driver and double World Rally champion Miki Biasion who is still live.
Elfyn Evans is driving this special stage phenomenally but I must admit that his notes for it is on the level like it should be for the works driver.
Season 2019 was his last season with M-Sport Ford. He was signed for Toyota for 2020 and he is there from then.
On the other hand, M-Sport Ford have good cars but they lack a top quality driver who will pull the maximum of machinery down on the road and that's why the teams are there - to compete.
This year they have Seb Loeb for four rallies and he already brought them one win. They need more of the same. Nothing else.
