Hello, my spend to earn community,
So far, it has been a long week, battling with illness and some other personal matters, I am grateful I am better now.
Still, my goal is to get more shops listed in Lagos State and also onboarding new users who will be shopping and spend HBD.
To achieve that goal I worked hard to reach shop owners and explain to them, most of them are interested but they are not convinced that hbd can be swapped to naira, after demonstration of how that can happen some will give excuses that they don't have much time since them as shop owners are not benefiting much and Lagos is very busy that they at no point lack customers, while some will ask for some time to think about it, so many have been scammed of their hard-earned Money so they are just being careful.
Will I give up? No, I won't.
I have to continue working harder to get interested once on board.
My experience with yummy fantasy.
Yummy Fantasy is a very big restaurant and lounge that is located at 35 Enitan Street Aguda Surulere Lagos where you get variety of cooked Nigerian food like fried rice, Nigerian Jellof, semovita, garri, fufu and different types of soups, they also have a beautiful lounge where people come in and enjoy some private time.
I went there yesterday but couldn't meet with the manager so I had to return today to meet with the manager and discuss with him, at first he was so harsh at me and unresponsive but I decided to persuade more, finally he gave me attention, his major concern was how to get his money on Nigerian currency, he also taught I came to scam him, so after a lengthy discussion he permitted me to take pictures and also gave me his contact to add as am listing the business.
He wanted to know how it worked, so I bought rice and Fanta and meat and paid with hbd; within a few minutes, hbd was swapped, and he got his Naira, so it became obvious that it was no scam.
Unfortunately, he is reserved when it comes to sharing his image, so I couldn't have a picture with him.
What next?
Tomorrow, we are going to have spendhbd lunch, I am expecting to have more newbies listed who will not just enjoy the project but also be very interested in bringing value to the platform.
My goal.
With much time of meditation on how to reach many in Lagos state with spend hbd project and content creation as well, restaurants happen to be one of the busiest places and people who come in are not in haste so they will likely have time for hbd transactions, so am determined to list more eateries and also give in more time in explanations to them how they can enjoy their journey on hive platform.
