I Have Started My Holiday 🙂

Yay, I'm early, but I have already started my holiday. I'm off from work for the next 5 weeks and I'll do my best to really make the most of this time. Lately I have started to feel more inspired again and I hope some exciting things will unfold in the near future.

It's interesting because it's more or less impossible to sell a flat at the moment. Normally, my flat would be sold within a week, but the market right now is just so uncertain and people are fearful. I had to accept it's not going to happen now. And I find it interesting because I really thought that was the plan the universe had for me. That I would leave Stockholm. But for some reason that's not going to happen (yet). When I come back after my vacation I might have to adjust my plans (again) and do my best to build a life there, at least for the next year or so. It's not what I expected or planned but maybe something good will come out of it. I do my best not to feel disappointed or stuck. After all, way worse things can happen to you.

I'll not think about that now though. If everything goes as planned I'll be on a flight to Portugal next Saturday and at the moment I'm spending some time at my mom's. Today I went for a swim for the first time this year 🙂 It's actually still rather cold in the water and it's not that warm outside (around 20 degrees Celsius). But I'm enjoying the summer. Everything is just so green. Even if it's still rather early in the season a lot of plants and flowers have already bloomed and withered.

But I'm happy to be here because I have missed so many summers here. And everything has just grown so much since I was here in late May. It's good because it has rained quite a lot lately but we still need more rain.

This looks rather wild but it's also the perspective. But these plants have grown and spread a lot.

Tomorrow we will go to my mom's other property (where my cottage is) and we will spend the night there. I'll actually sleep in my cottage. Something I haven't done for about 20 years 🙂. It's just for one night, my mom will sleep in the bigger house. Let's see how it feels. I'm not used to spending evenings there. And there's no internet there (reception is very bad) so there will be no distractions.

I like that my mom doesn't mow the lawn that often. And when she does she always save some flowers.

This was just a quick update. I hope to post more from this week, and of course from Portugal 🙂 (Even though I have decided not to bring my laptop there).

Now it's time for yoga 🧘‍♀️
