The weather was too good to pass up, so we all pack in car and headed out for an afternoon drive up to the surrounding villages around the Vitosha Mountain. We stopped at a small hillside village 2 hours outside of the city to enjoy some local cuisine and nature. Here we are outside the restaurant ordering some lunch. While the kids are going for some traditional Bulgarian meatballs with bread, the adults all opted for some local soups. The food was fresh and fantastic, well worth the trip to the mountain side.
