Upon entering the garden, visitors must first attend an orientation. They oriented us about the rules, ways, location of the comfort room and so on. Few people were present when we arrived since we went there earlier. We saw a couple having their photoshoots and they were looking good. This scenic location is perfect for pre-nuptial and pre-debut photo shoots. Staff is available if you need assistance in picture-taking. We were lucky to have met a friendly staff named Vincent and he was the one who took our pictures. He's a funny guy and he toured us around the garden.
Let's go and tour around the garden...
There were a lot of mayana varieties around the area. The one that attracted us the most was this heart shaped covered with maroon colored mayana plants. Mayana can be both decorative and medicinal. Some people in our village use this to stop bleeding from cuts.
The colorful bridge that surrounds the area gives us that 360 view of the whole place.
The feeling of being surrounded with a lot of blooming flowers, it made us feel so relax and happy.
Picturesque and Instagram-worthy, its stunning landscape is home to more than 200 varieties of colorful, locally grown flowers. One of my favorite plants is the hydrangea and I am so happy because I saw it here. They have 3 colors- light blue, purple and white.
Stunning colorful dahlias around the garden. According to my research, Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native to Mexico and Central America. It can strive in tropical countries like the Philippines. We actually have dahlias in our garden but the color is white only.
Spider Flower (Cleome Hassleriana), native to southern South America in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and southeast Brazil, it has also been introduced to South Asia, including the Haor area of Bangladesh and India.
In the lower part of the trail, you can see a steel boardwalk with rainbow-colored footpaths with a picturesque mountain in the background. The yellow and maroon mayana plants added to the beauty of the place.
Other flowers planted include roses, hibiscus (gumamela), morning glory, wax begonias, angel’s trumpets, bougainvilleas, etc.
At the bottom part of the trail, you'll see an elephant statue. I love the background of the mountain.
HOW TO GET THERE?
Located a few meters away from Adventure Café and West 35, it is a 1 hour drive from JY square or Marco Polo via the scenic Transcentral highway or take a V-hire at Ayala Center Cebu Terminal going to Balamban via the Transcentral highway route. Fare is about P120 per person (one-way). Inform the driver to drop you off at Buwakan ni Alejandra. Another option is to take a habal-habal from JY Square Mall but it will be pricey especially now that the gasoline price is going up.

I'm amazed they have an orientation but I think that's a must. The facility is maintaining a lot of these flowers so guests must at least know what not to do. 😊
