Drone Video: White Mountains Amazing Foliage!Featured Author: @seangold
Images property of @seangold
It's that time of year again - the temperatures start to cool, the winds begin to shift, and the leaves on the trees begin to repaint an amazing landscape. We start off today's Author Showcase with some great drone footage captured by @seangold in the White Mountains. They capture all of the amazing colors of the Fall season.
It used to be people would drive through the mountains to see all of the beautiful colors. I can definitely see how technology could be changing that. Now you can drive to a selected spot and then launch your drone to get many different and incredible views of the color change that you could never get before.

Up next we have some great art from @niko3d. They took a few black and white portraits and combined them into one great work. This was part of their Inktober works. They included some other pieces in an attempt to get caught up on the daily project.
Be sure to check out their more recent posts as well. They include some great Walking Dead art of Negan and Lucille, and @niko3d's own creation, the Pumpkin King.

Cook with Us #27: Roasted Red Pepper And Strawberry SoupFeatured Author: @foodforsoul
Images property of @foodforsoul
@foodforsoul not only includes the step by step recipe, but also some amazing photos of the process. They also shared the following comments about their journey so far on the platform.
When I joined Steemit I choose to blog primarily about cooking which is one of my passion. I found this particular contest two weeks after it was started and have participated every single week. I am a mother of a lovely little girl and I would like her to inherit part of my passion for cooking. Over the last two years I’ve grown as a cook and I’m very happy to be able to showcase my skills each week. And it allowed me to bring forward some very happy memories of my childhood when using particular ingredients or recipes. It has been an incredible experience so far. And thank you @curie for the acknowledgement.

Two-tailed mutant lizard - ART EXPLOSION WEEK 49: Theme MUTATIONSFeatured Author: @iraidamatheus
Images property of @iraidamatheus
Our next post comes to us from a talented artist that has been sharing their great work here on the Steem Blockchain for the past eight months or so. It is great to see them finally getting some attention for their art and creativity.
For this post they use a variation of pointillism which is a staple in much of their art to bring a colorful and unique lizard to life. I love how @iraidamatheus took some plain white cardboard and transformed it into this two-tailed lizard for the Art Explosion contest with the theme, mutations. All of the closeup shots of the different finished sections is a nice final touch for the post.
Go check out @iraidamatheus colorful lizard.
An Original Beatbox Routine // ''Raw 'N Uncut'' (Wildcard Video)Featured Author: @benja
Images property of @benja
I grew up in the 1980s. A time where beatboxing was likely at its early height of popularity. The greats of that time included names like The Human Beat Box with The Fat Boys, and Doug E. Fresh with Slick Rick & The Get Fresh Crew.
I think it is great that there is a bit of a resurgence for the art of beatboxing. Of course it probably never really went away, I just missed it for quite some time. Anyway, @benja definitely does some great and unique things in this video performance for The Grand Beatbox Battle.
Stop by and check out the performance and wish @benja luck in the competition.

This next post is from the @cookwithus competition. @foodforsoul brings us a dish that sounds like a bit of an unusual mix of ingredients. However, I have to say I am very interested in trying it. I don't think I would ever have considered mixing red peppers and strawberries. It is just something most minds wouldn't put together, and yet it sounds very interesting.
Congratulations to all the creators recognized by @curie as having produced exceptional content.
Hey @Curie, let me know if this is not the place to do this, but I found a really good post of someone's original music that should get more notice. Here's the link to this person's post: https://steemit.com/art/@romanskv/psychedelic-nimbus-original-music
I wasn't sure where to share it for your viewing.
