Es por todo esto que hasta ahora se continua acentuando a este orden taxonómico (Lepidoptera) como uno de los principales bastiones de "bichos" más megadiverso y numérico del planeta, de ahí el hecho de que seamos testigos frecuentes de la presencia de múltiples mariposas en diferentes lugares, realmente sería algo catastrófico el día en que no veamos a alguna de ellas, ya que las desapariciones de un grupo tan predominante y sensible a los cambios indicarían que el ambiente o la calidad del mismo está en una peligrosa decadencia. Todos estos ejemplares de cuerpos y alas coloridas por la acción de pequeñas estructuras denominadas escamas son fundamentales para la vida en su conjunto (sin menospreciar a ninguna), por lo que pese a la "competencia" que llega a existir entre nosotros y ellas por las plantaciones, siempre debemos priorizar y comprender la importancia de estos ejemplares, motivo por el que eventualmente comparto en esta plataforma (Hive) distintas especies que forman parte de los lepidópteros.
