Hello friends.

Normally, in dark and difficult times we always think the worst. It is not easy to face adverse situations and it is normal to feel fear. In fact, I have written many times here that we should be brave and keep a positive attitude but we all know that this is not easy to do.

To try to keep a little calm we must trust in God and keep our minds busy. If we look back, on many occasions we have imagined terrible things that have never happened to us and that is because our mind is focused on activating our survival instinct. To relax a little, let's do a lot of things that we enjoy while we take care of what is weighing us down.

One of the most common ways to keep the mind busy is to work, but if we can't do that we can try watching funny videos, reading a book, playing a game, or maybe watching a movie. That will depend on our tastes.

Hola amigos.

Es normal que en momentos oscuros y difíciles siempre pensemos lo peor. No es fácil enfrentarse a situaciones adversas y es normal sentir miedo. De hecho, he escrito muchas veces aquí que debemos ser valientes y mantener una actitud positiva pero todos sabemos que esto no es fácil de hacer.

Para intentar mantener un poco la calma debemos confiar en Dios y mantener nuestra mente ocupada. Si echamos la vista atrás, en muchas ocasiones hemos imaginado cosas terribles que nunca nos han ocurrido y eso es porque nuestra mente está centrada en activar nuestro instinto de supervivencia. Para relajarnos un poco, hagamos muchas cosas que nos gusten mientras nos ocupamos de lo que nos agobia.

Una de las formas más comunes de mantener la mente ocupada es trabajar, pero si no podemos hacerlo podemos probar a ver vídeos divertidos, leer un libro, jugar a un juego o quizás ver una película. Eso dependerá de nuestros gustos.

Yeah true! That is what I always do. But most of the times, I only cry then think of the things that makes me laugh and happy.

The mind is a wonderful thing, but potentially a very dangerous thing also. The key I find is to stay present as much as possible and think too much about what might happen or what has happened. It's not always easy, but even just being aware helps.
