I prepared a report on the collected fees for June 2017. During the month, 1.60 million BTS were collected for 9.32 million operations (within 2.60 million transactions) on the blockchain.
The leading distribution of operational fees paid/collected with BTS were as follows:
Hi there, I am new to this event, so if I download mumble and listen to the whole section, I will be able to earn some tokens? Do I have to be a speaker in order to earn tokens?
What do we Earn for Actively Participating?
Those who attend will each earn from a pool of bitshares that will be purchased with earnings from this post. They will then be given directly to you via our new guestbook that we are testing.
Fuzzy will be giving [whaleshares] to community founders who attend this weekly hangout to give their own unique perspectives and expert commentary. He will also be giving them to people who give topics and information we choose to use in our hangout!

I want to help promote steemit.com. I think it's wonderful and created a video with the website. I shared it on all my social media sites, but I have a question. Is it alright to use the logo? I wanted to place it on the billboard, but didn't know if it were allowed.
Also, I just acquired the bitShares wallet, but as someone who is new I'm not sure why.
I'm glad I saw this post. I tried to download a Bitshares wallet but I kept getting an error. I guess it must have been tech difficulties. I will try it again.
Resteemed, I will be there. I was in one 2 weeks ago but came in too late because I didn't realise that it's UTC time. Needless to say, waking up early this time.
Thx for your post.. I am loving bitshares more and more allthough I am still learning the platform.. I didn't knew it until @onceuponatime made a blog about it. It's really fast and it's not a centrally managed exchange. I will try to attend any time soon but there is so much to learn..
Well said, I really like this that you've laid out. And I definitely share the viewpoint with you. I also hope to leave my legacy here on steemit, and what I share here is what I would want to be remembered for. I think we can all look for something new! Thank you for being here. :)
I would like to attend but am a new member and I don't understand how much of this works still. It all feels like a big water hose of information coming all at once. Am I able to attend and ask a question? is there a time for that?
May I ask if using the logo in videos to promote is allowed? What permissions are needed for the logo? I was thinking of making a YouTube channel exclusively for steemit.
I also wanted to know if steemit had any plans on making inroads into YouTube. Many YouTubers have started a VIDME channel, due to the changes and restrictions YouTube has imposed.
YouTube has stated that they will be removing the video editor on September 20th, much to the disappointment and resistance, of the grass roots community that built them into what they are today.
I know that if steemit offered a free video editor at this crucial juncture, it could sweep YouTube of the masses underpinning it. Please consider doing this. I for one would devote all my creative energy to Steemit, if this were the case.
I am planning to invest on bitshare as because I am getting lot of positive signs. I will really thank steemit who has provide such a nice platform where you can get all the real information, internet is now full of scammer who to believe and who to trust.
Anyways thanks.
I know that bitshares is intrinsically tied to steemit as the founders I believe are all involved in its development or have active accounts on steemit. With that being said, I believe a good topic would/should be the signup process here.
I have, along with others who have an audience in social media have been telling followers about steemit and still the signup process is the number one thing that people come back and tell me that turned them away. They claim it was too difficult or they never got an email with a pass word or a whole host of other problems.
As someone who has been in marketing, the first impression is the most important. Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see anyone who is addressing this and saying it will be fixed. Many people who had issues getting an account here will probably never come back. That is an opportunity lost forever by steemit.
So my topic that I humbly suggest, is to address this and how it's being fixed.
I know its not related but unless I'm mistaken, some of the devs involved work on both? This should be a big concern. People are coming, getting frustrated and never coming back.

I have known about steemit for a whole three days. My ignorance will subside when I have asked a plethora of stupid questions. But, I'm READY! 🐳

Of course. U can even ask questions below!

Steemit isn't related to Bitshares :/
There's a few steemit hangouts where you could propose this though
I know its not related but unless I'm mistaken, some of the devs involved work on both? This should be a big concern. People are coming, getting frustrated and never coming back.
We are looking into helping address it but its a secret :P
A very great post .. and very useful ,, thanks for you @officialfuzzy amazing steemit
