This is just redistribution of wealth. Who pays for it? The answer is obvious - the people with money pay for it. The people who worked hard to get ahead pay for it. Why should one class of society be taxed more to support another class? It's not correct. If it's not my fault that you were born poor then why should I have to pay for it? Basic Income is just the first step to Socialism.
