After a solution has been found, there are several more possible paths to follow. The human mind works that way. We often don't know how to stop it, don't want to stop it or simply cannot stop it.

I've always wondered about this, especially in the light of hypotheses testing in statistics, (one-tailed and two-tailed tests are hinged upon the singular premise of conclusivity), however, after testing many theories myself, I've concluded there is practically no one-tailed test in reality, because after every supposed conclusion, there are still more possibilities to test.
