The Chinese landscape painting emphasizes the importance of the primary, the close relationship, the expression of the Chinese cultural middle class ideology; I try to make a reproduction of this relationship with the composition of western dotted line, and weaken the grade, emphasizing the elegant and gentle artistic conception of landscape. More I was looking forward to the natural life, looking for my natural landscape in the city. LOL. No problem. It's just that I grew up with the traditional Chinese landscape which, don't get me wrong, is beautiful. I had just never seen it in a way, like yours, that made it more contemporary without losing its simplicity and elegance.

Actually, I was born in the states. My parents came to the US from Taiwan for college. The eastern landscape art was all around my relative's homes.
