My Whispering for Whisper Gallery I

Wow! I've being selected as the final illustrator for the Whisper Gallery project. The idea behind that was one artist is whispering the theme to another with his work and next one should do something inspired by that. Then the chain goes on. You could check all the previous whispers at @mrblinddraw blog.

Trying to inspire...

If you will check what is behind the stage of creating that eye piece you will be amazed. That was the real tapes scanned and then applied to the cats eye. I would not say anything about the final result but I've promised to take part in this project and I had to create something based on that piece. Whta to do?

My first toughts was like: Hey, what? Em... Uh... An eye? Lol? Tape?..

So I've started to scratch this words on the canvas because I really had no idea what should I do with this cat eye.

Then I've started to think of my childhood and all these casette players, old school stuff and thought okay, let's play with the tape then. Gradually my thoughts lead me to this final sketch I was satisfied and I started to color it.

Coloring Process

All my works I am drawing in Adobe Photoshop with Microsoft Surface Pro 2017. I am working with such a tablets for last 2 years and I've got my neck feel really bad of it so I would not recommend this device though it's really handy, small, light weight and it's more comfortable to draw right on the screen rather than on the blind surface with Wacom Intuos series for example. I don't know what to do now with my neck and all that pain. Maybe I will create special drawing easel for this particular tablet and will draw standing. It would be more healthy. Or I will get back to my traditional drawing using Macbook Pro and Wacom Intuos tablets where I can sit straight without struggling my neck...

Well anyway this is not the case now. Here is few coloring stages I've saved for your pleasure.

Final
