<p dir="auto"><span>Today I found a very interesting error message from a user who's trying to use my service <a href="/@scotauto">@scotauto (Steem Scot claim automation service).

<code>"size <= STEEM_MAX_AUTHORITY_MEMBERSHIP: Authority membership exceeded. Max: 40 Current: 41"<span>Due to the nature of the service, a user need to authorize its posting right to <a href="/@scotauto">@scotauto, but the user got the following error message:

<p dir="auto">The error message who will get if you've already authorized your posting rights to 40 apps, but trying to authorize it to an additional app.
<p dir="auto">While I'm not a huge fan of authorizing posting rights to dapps (personally I strictly avoid it whenever it's possible), we should not limit it unnecessarily either. It's basically a user's choice.
<p dir="auto">In addition, authorization can be used for multisig operation.
<p dir="auto">Thus, I suggest increasing it enough so that accounts can use more dapps.

<p dir="auto">The limit is defined here, so you can simply increase this by changing that number.

Honestly, I had no idea about the limit of the dapps we can use. I always thought that we can use infinity dapps.
Given the fact that more and more dapps will be built on steem blockchain in future, 40 is is very small number. I guess increasing the number of dapps we can use will be necessary soon if not today.

Korean: 신기하게도 포스팅권한 위임에 40개 제한이 있는데 그걸 꽉 채운 유저가 있네요. @scotauto 가입하는데 에러가 난다고 해서 알게 되었습니다. 개인적으로 scotauto처럼 꼭 위임이 필요한 경우가 아니면 위임하는 구 스팀커넥트 방식은 없어져야 한다고 생각하지만 여전히 많은 부분 스팀커넥트에 의존하고 있으니 제한을 늘리라는 단순한 제안입니다.
스팀커넥트는 40개 제한이 있었군요. 새롭게 알게된 사실이네요. ㅋ
그리고 블록체인스튜디오님 최근 한달 동안 매우 많은 활동을 하셨군요.
